ULTRAcel Q+ uses High Intensity Focused Ultrasound to treat fine lines and wrinkles as well as reducing localized areas of fat such as a double chin.

 

High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) uses ultrasound energy focused to specific target depths to stimulate collagen production through the production of a thermal injury (heat). The aim of the treatment is to achieve tighter, firmer skin with fewer wrinkles.

 

ULTRAcel Q+ has two patterns to deliver the energy which produce different results:

• Dot Pattern – is the traditional type of HIFU. By focusing the HIFU energy at different depths it is possible to treat the body as well as the face. Dot Pattern HIFU is an ideal treatment for skin rejuvenation.

• Linear Pattern – is currently unique to ULTRAcel Q+ and has been developed to specifically target and eliminate areas of fat. The Linear Pattern cartridge produces bulk heating of fat and destruction of the fat cells. The fat is then eliminated from the body via the blood stream over a period of weeks. This treatment is ideal for localized areas of fat such as double chin, ‘bra bulge’, upper arm fat and the flanks (‘love handles’).

 

The ULTRAcel Q+ is a fast treatment and does not require the use of any anaesthetic creams or injections. Most people find any discomfort minimal and there is little or no downtime after the procedure.
